    HOURS: 8:00am-4:30pm

    Our current facility is located in Chatsworth, but as we grow, we're moving to a new, larger facility, in Valencia. During the move, you'll work closely with our teams and should be able to commute to both locations.

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST conducts quality assurance audits of digital print production facilities ensuring company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved. Consults with management to resolve quality, production, and efficiency problems. Functions as an information source to all departments when special and critical quality issues occur. Focuses on decreasing both the reshipment rate and damage rate. 

    YOUR DAILY TASKS WILL ENTAIL:

    • Determine overall product quality by conducting and evaluating various product tests related but not limited to printing, curing, embroidering, sewing, packing, and shipping.
    • Identify, evaluate, document and take corrective action when necessary with regard to product quality improvement and process improvement to enhance company's customer experience.
    • Educate personnel and recommend necessary quality control testing, equipment setting, general process and housekeeping practices. Confirm these procedures are being maintained ongoing.
    • Discuss process evaluation with management, make appropriate recommendations and set timetable for improvement and corrections.
    • Function as an information source for DTG and other departments when critical quality issues arise.
    • Prepare department quality evaluation reports and submit them to supervisors, director of operations, quality control and leads.
    • Assist in development of special department projects and work in conjunction with supervisors, director of operations, quality control services.
    • Accept responsibility of training and preparing new employees for this position.
    • Assess existing production processes and support continual end product quality improvement initiatives.
    •  Analyze re-shipments across all departments, and take corrective action to decrease the re-shipment rate.
    •  Analyze production related damages across all departments, and take corrective action to decrease the damage rate.
    •  Additional projects and tasks assigned as required.

    HERE IS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

    • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
    • 2 to 4 years direct digital printing experience.
    • 2-4 years of experience in field, production facility quality control. 
    • Team leader experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in production management or quality assurance.
    • Detailed knowledge of production improvement standards and measures.
