HOURS:  8:00AM-4:30P

Our current facility is located in Chatsworth, but as we grow, we're moving to a new, larger facility, in Valencia. 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Operate or tend sewing machines to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacture of garment or non-garment products. Individual performance goals are expected thus contributing to the overall Cut & Sew Department goals. No experience is necessary, as you'll take part in a 60-day training program at the start of your employment. However, experience with industrial sewing machines or knowledge of the textile industry will be beneficial.

You'll learn to sew starting with the basics, and master single needle, overlock, and coverstitch techniques. You'll learn how to sew products such as yoga leggings, face gaiters, skirts, dresses, tote bags, backpacks, t-shirts, and more. You'll also learn to thread and maintain the machines you work with. 

YOUR DAILY TASKS WILL ENTAIL: 

• Learning different stations & getting familiar with our internal work app in your first few weeks
• Learning your station - how to produce a quality product and how to do it efficiently
• Operating industrial sewing machines in a production environment for quality control to review the finished products.
• Performing light troubleshooting for machine maintenance

HERE IS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• No experience is necessary 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for eight hours or more, and able to change projects back and forth as job demands.
• Understanding of the production sewing processes and output demand.
