POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Facilities Maintenance Associate assists the Facilities Department in the maintenance and upkeep of Printful facilities. Facility Maintenance Associates perform a number of tasks for the Facilities Department, such as maintaining facility equipment; assisting in the cleaning of restrooms, offices, and hallways; performing safety inspections as well as inspections of the grounds.  Additionally, these professionals must be able to assist staff members in facilities-related tasks when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Operating forklifts, aerial lifts, and order picking equipment in a safe and controlled manner
• Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed 
• Repair, maintain/monitor all facility equipment and amenities  
• Clean windows and glass doors  
• Change all equipment filters as required  
• Replace light bulbs, interior, and exterior, as needed  
• Make ready the facility for events, such as hiring fairs, orientations, lunch meals, etc. 
• Help main the grounds, such as in trash removal, cigarette pickup, snow removal, etc.
• Assist with equipment installs and removals  
• As needed, aid in daily interior trash removal, facility cleaning, and restocking
• Perform other assigned duties as requested by supervisor and manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Background in facilities maintenance; 3+ years experience
• Hold current certification in forklift and aerial lift operation or have held within the last year
• Physical ability to regularly lift objects weighing 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders 
• Can work around lubricants, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints, etc.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry  
• Ability to work with minimal supervision  
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
