THE BASICS:

Responsible for product packaging and shipping efficiently, on time and according to the company's quality standards, as well as seeing to that everything (supplies, personnel, machines) is in place to do so.

THE FORMALITIES:

• Meet individual performance goals which contribute to meeting the overall DTG Department performance goals
• Perform job function with a sense of urgency and avoid downtime and distractions from work (like cell phones)
• Facilitate smooth and organized production flow in order to minimize stuck items, paying particular attention to the “Priority Lane”, i.e. the flow of “Reds”, “Priorities” and “Reshipments”
• Develop ways to proactively avoid reds and blues. 
• Suggest improvements to the DTG Department Lead in person or using the Suggestion box.
• Ensure safe and functional work environment
• Continuously raise the standard of quality and prevent reshipments

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
• Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
• Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
