HOURS 7AM-3:30PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS SOMETIMES REQUIRED.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Our Canvas Specialist will be responsible for mid to high volume assembly and fulfillment of canvas orders.  The ideal candidate will have experience in stretching canvases using several sizes of stretcher bars/frames while maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.

Tasks may change day-to-day but will generally include:

• Mid to high volume assembly and production

• Canvas cutting, canvas stretching, mounting and securing

• Canvas printer maintenance and general operations.

• Correctly follow art handling procedures and ensure the integrity of the artwork through all stages of fulfillment.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Prior experience in canvas stretching, picture framing, or similar fields.
• Experience working with canvas and canvas stretcher bars/frames
• Experience with tools such as staple guns (automatic/manual), canvas stretcher pliers, other related hand-tools
• Experience using large scale printers and computer printing software such as Onyx preferred
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of workmanship and attention to detail required.
• Can work independently and as a team.
• Able to lift up to 30-45 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Full dexterity and prolonged use of hands.
