About the Role:

Join Performance Label International Inc as a Rewinder/Quality Control Assistant and be a vital part of our dynamic team in San Diego, CA! This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure top-quality products while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Entry and Intermediate positions available, will train.

Responsibilities:

Operate rewinding machines to prepare printed materials for shipping.

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.

Maintain accurate records of production and quality metrics.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation.

Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in the workplace.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Requirements:

Previous experience in printing or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Committed to professional development.

Basic mechanical skills for machine operation and maintenance.

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Frequent standing, walking and the ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Basic math skills, ability to read a ruler and use calculator.

Proper attendance.

Specific vision requirements are close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

Able to pass a background and drug screen (Per California Law)
