    Shift: 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM (7 days a week)

    Salary: $18 - $20 per hour

    Job Description:

    Priority Cares Home Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Companion to provide specialized care and support to a blind patient during the overnight shift. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of our visually impaired patient.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ? Companionship: Be a friendly and supportive presence for the patient throughout the night. Engage in conversations, offer emotional support, and ensure their comfort.

    ? Assistance with Daily Living: Assist the patient with daily living activities such as getting in and out of bed, using the restroom, and any other tasks they may require help with.

    ? Medication Reminder: If needed, remind the patient to take their medications as prescribed.

    ? Monitor Safety: Ensure the patient's safety during the night, help prevent accidents, and promptly respond to any emergency situations.

    ? Meal Assistance: If required, assist with meal preparation and feeding, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences.

    ? Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the patient's living space clean and organized.

    ? Communication: Communicate with hospital staff and the patient's healthcare team to ensure the patient's care plan is followed.

    Qualifications:

    ? Previous experience in patient care or similar roles is preferred.

    ? Compassion and patience in providing care to individuals with special needs.

    ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    ? Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by visually impaired

    individuals.

    ? Reliable and punctual, given the overnight shift schedule.

    ? Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the patient's privacy.
