Overview:

ESO Consultants is seeking a qualified Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing user manuals, training manuals, and policies and procedures related to technology activities. This role involves analyzing system documentation, screens, and reports, as well as conducting interviews with users and agency personnel. The successful candidate must have experience in technical writing of systems documentation and user manuals, including various electronic and video media. Strong analytical, communication, editing, and writing skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

\- Perform detailed analysis of application functionality.

\- Interpret and clarify all related application and interface issues.

\- Understand programming, database structures, client/server; LAN/WAN; and GUI design.

Qualifications:

\- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

\- Three or more years of experience as a Technical Writer.

\- Ability to decode technical information for technical and non-technical groups.

\- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

\- Strong analytical ability.

\- Experience with PC and/or Macintosh application programs.

\- Experience in technical writing of systems documentation and user manuals, including various electronic and video media.

\- Excellent analytical, communication, editing, and writing skills.
