Overview:

ESO Consultants is currently seeking candidates for the position of IT Security Operations. The role involves various responsibilities related to security monitoring, infrastructure implementation, enforcement, and support activities within the Cyber Security Operation Center (CSOC). The successful candidate will work alongside technical security staff to ensure the security of critical infrastructure and applications, participate in security change management processes, and provide 24/7 support for all security technologies managed by the CSOC.

Responsibilities:

\- Security Monitoring, Infrastructure Implementation, Security Enforcement, and Support activities related to the Cyber Security Operation Center (CSOC).

\- Implementation and monitoring support of perimeter network security devices such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxy, and Application Security Events.

\- Providing information to senior management regarding current infrastructure security events, reporting, investigation monitoring, and day-to-day security operations.

\- Participating in the management and monitoring of security change processes and security events for highly critical systems holding sensitive data.

\- Performing log correlation between security, network, and application logs.

\- Project management, administration, and monitoring of data security projects and procedures within the Cyber Security Operation Center.

\- Providing 24/7 support for all security technologies managed by the CSOC, including lifecycle replacement and upgrades throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

\- Knowledge of Enterprise Networks & Security infrastructure, Communication and internet security systems, Firewalls, Intrusion Protection Systems, Remote Access VPN, Proxy, Wireless Security, NAC, Enterprise ID Management systems, Database, computer systems, security event analysis, and forensic investigations.

\- Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.

\- Creative problem-solving abilities with a desire to take on responsibility.

\- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

\- Effective communication of technical information and ideas to others.

\- Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the costs and benefits of potential actions.
