Overview:
RELEVANT is currently seeking an experienced Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Solution Architect / Cloud Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS delivery with a focus on architecting cloud solutions for enterprise-level customers. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and partners to develop AWS services, managing a team of cloud developers and architects, and scoping AWS solutions for new service opportunities.
Job Title: AWS Cloud Solutions Architect / Cloud Engineer
Responsibilities:
\- Collaborate with the AWS alliance lead to formulate and execute strategy for AWS adoption.
\- Manage the cloud services delivery team of developers and architects.
\- Act as an AWS evangelist, educating internal clients on the value proposition of AWS.
\- Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure client success in building new and migrating existing applications and services on AWS.
\- Establish credibility and build client relationships with senior technical staff to promote cloud adoption.
\- Support the Cloud Architect's initiatives in designing and implementing infrastructure automation solutions and assisting application developers with environment setup and maintenance.
Required Experience:
\- BA/BS in a related field.
\- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud architecture on AWS.
\- Provided clients/customers with best practices guidance on architectural design across multiple applications, projects, and clients.
\- Built architectures and provided prescriptive guidance across network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, databases, etc.
\- Designed and deployed dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on AWS.
\- Migrated complex, multi-tier on-premises applications to AWS.
\- Designed and deployed enterprise-wide scalable operations on AWS.
\- Served as a team lead in a consultative role on customer engagements involving software application projects.
\- Ability to be hands-on in leadership roles and manage others to execute and deliver project deliverables.
Preferred:
\- Certified AWS Solutions Architect – Associate OR
\- Certified AWS Solutions Architect – Professional.
