Prison Fellowship® trains and inspires churches and communities—inside and outside of prison—to support the restoration of those affected by incarceration. We equip correctional leaders, volunteers, and incarcerated men and women to make prisons more rehabilitative places; we advocate for a more restorative criminal justice system; and we collaborate with churches and local service providers to support former prisoners, their families, and their communities. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: A driven and team focused CONTRACTS & LEGAL INTERN to participate in a wide range of projects to help us improve our programs, efficiencies and support. You will gain exceptional hands-on experience in matters dealing with nonprofit and charity-based laws and regulations, religious identity, intellectual property matters, and employment law matters. The ideal intern will also work on policy and procedures related to nonprofit organizations and draft and prepare legal, contract and compliance training materials. ​The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of basic principles of the Christian faith and will have completed at least 1 year of law school.

A minimum commitment of eight weeks is required for this internship which can be in our Lansdowne, Virginia office, 100% virtual, or a combination. Summer interns must provide their own housing and transportation.  

This is a paid internship at $12.50/hour rate for a 40 hour week.
