    Job Description

    Position: Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant Classification: Full-Time Salary / Hourly: Salary Compensation: TBD General Description: Private estate or family office located in Woodmere, Long Island is in search of an amazing and organized Personal Assistant/ Executive Assistant. The Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant responsibilities includes: nannying or childcare, housekeeping, personal errands, wardrobe etc. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools. Candidates must be willing to travel and have flexible availability. Major Duties and Responsibilities: ● Supervise children's preparations for school and extracurricular activities: shoes, bags, snacks, water ● Organize children's bedrooms and bathrooms and provide light housekeeping services ● Assist with laundry: hang/dry, fold, and put away clothes and linens twice a week ● Assist with daily meals: take food out of the oven or off the stove, cut vegetables, etc. ● Observe guidelines for food storage, cleaning, preparation, and service ● Complete errands locally: basic shopping, pick-ups, and deliveries for the family; and go to the grocery ● Drive children to routine, scheduled, and special activities and serve as their authorized representative. ● Accompany the family during occasional travel domestically and internationally ● Aide in travel planning, organizing, packing and unpacking, and gathering supplies ● Drive, park, and use map applications locally and while traveling, as necessary ● Facilitate other tasks related to children's and Principals' daily routines and special events. ● Help prepare families for virtual and in-person appointments, events, and classes. ● Record and monitor household expenses and handle bill/credit card payments. ● Accompany family on occasional trips. ● Aide in travel planning, organizing, packing/unpacking, and gathering supplies. ● Greet and entertain extended family members and guests, when necessary ● Facilitate other tasks, projects, and special events, as directed by the Principals ● Accomplish additional projects and assignments, as determined by the Principals Requirements & Skills: . ● Tech-savvy; comfortable with Mac, PC, and mobile environments ● Familiar with productivity, tasking, communications, networking, and other applications: Google ● Workspace/Meet, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Skype, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, and more ● Exceptional interpersonal communications - written, spoken, and electronic ● Capable of adapting to an ever-changing, often unstructured environment ● Highest standards of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and loyalty ● Polished, poised, and professional, both in mindset and manor ● Experience working with large families with 4+ children ● Kosher experience, and references from Kosher clients, preferred. ● Flexible with scheduling and willing to work overtime, if needed ● Has youthful energy and is able to play outside with children ● Capable of assuming a hands-on role, and adapting to an ever-changing environment ● Eager to execute tasks efficiently and exceed expectations Qualifications Education: ● Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: ● 3 years of experience as a Nanny/childcare, House Manager, Family Assistant Perks: * Company car provided (if needed)
