Overview
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Private Cook to prepare three fresh meals daily, manage grocery shopping, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. The ideal candidate should be comfortable cooking a variety of cuisines (including Indian, continental, and fusion), adapt to family preferences, and ensure healthy, hygienic meals every day.
Key Responsibilities
Meal Preparation:
Cook fresh breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
Prepare healthy, balanced meals tailored to family preferences (regional Indian dishes, occasional fusion, snacks, and beverages).
Plan weekly menus in consultation with the family.
Grocery & Kitchen Management:
Purchase fresh groceries and pantry items as required.
Maintain inventory of spices, staples, and perishable goods.
Ensure proper storage and organization of ingredients.
Cleaning & Hygiene:
Wash utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment after every meal.
Keep the kitchen and dining area clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
Manage waste disposal responsibility.
Additional Duties (if required):
Occasionally prepare food for guests or small gatherings.
Assist with festive/ceremonial cooking (special sweets, snacks, traditional meals).
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a cook (private household, catering, or restaurant background).
Ability to cook both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and dietary requirements.
Reliable, punctual, and respectful of household privacy.
Basic English
