Private Credit Analytics Associate

Our client, a >$150B AUM alternatives firm in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for an Private Credit Analytics Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 yrs. of financial services experience and a strong understanding of private credit and direct lending markets.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the operational due diligence of potential new investors
• Evaluating and reporting on the financial performance at the investment, portfolio, and fund level.
• Coordinate across teams to respond to ad hoc investor data requests
• Deliver data-driven insights on custom requests surrounding new product launches
• Taking ownership of ad hoc assignments that contribute to broader investment decisions

Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in private credit, investment banking, fund administration or a similar financial environment
• A strong academic foundation with a degree from a top-tier university, preferably in finance or economics
• A strong understanding of financial markets, with exposure to direct lending, CLOs, bank debt, syndicated leveraged loans, or Private Credit
• Advanced Excel skillset
• Python and SQL knowledge is preferred
• Strong organizational and process management skills
