Private Credit Trading Assistant

Our client, a >$200B AUM alternatives firm in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for a Private Credit Trading Assistant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 yrs. of financial services experience with strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as first point of contact for Front Office, borrowers, and other business partners for private credit facilities.
• Work alongside Finance and Treasury teams on deal execution, management of financing facilities and liquidity needs, overseeing FX balances and needs.
• Perform metric analysis and performance reporting for the Investment Team
• Daily P&L management for structured products and credit facilities.
• Maintenance and oversight of leverage facilities within the system; schedules of interest

payments, drawdowns and repayments

• Oversee and action cash and position reconciliations
• Build automated workflows and dashboards, providing actionable insights for executive leadership

Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in private credit, investment banking, fund administration or a similar financial environment
• Experience with credit asset classes required
• A strong academic foundation with a degree from an accredited university
• Advanced Excel skills
• ClearPar, WSO, Loan IQ, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python and SQL knowledge is desired
• Strong organizational and process management skills
