Agape Love Childcare Center is seeking an experienced, patient, energetic, and nurturing Private Elementary Teacher / Autism & ABA Support Specialist to lead a unique private learning classroom located inside our childcare center.

This is not an in-home position. The classroom is located within our established childcare center and has a maximum of only three elementary-aged students.

One student attends five days per week and benefits from individualized academic instruction, autism-informed teaching, communication support, and ABA-based strategies. Two additional elementary-aged students attend approximately three days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for an educator or autism-support professional who wants to make a meaningful impact while teaching in a very small, individualized learning environment.

    Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group elementary instruction for a maximum of three students

Teach reading, phonics, writing, math, science, social studies, and other elementary subjects

Develop and implement engaging weekly lesson plans

Adapt instruction based on individual learning levels, strengths, interests, and needs

Utilize positive reinforcement, visual supports, prompting, modeling, structured routines, and ABA-informed strategies

Provide individualized support for communication, social skills, independence, emotional regulation, and positive behavior

Incorporate hands-on learning, movement, music, sensory activities, science experiments, cooking, games, and creative projects

    Incorporate outdoor and community-based learning

Participate in library visits and occasional educational field trips

Monitor and document academic and developmental progress

Maintain a structured, positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Communicate regularly with the parent regarding progress, challenges, and educational goals

Candidates with experience as an Elementary Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), ABA/Behavior Technician, Paraprofessional, Autism Support Specialist, Tutor, or Learning Specialist are encouraged to apply.

    Why You'll Love This Position

Small learning environment — maximum of 3 students.

Instead of managing a traditional classroom of 20–30 students, you will have the opportunity to truly get to know each child, identify how they learn best, and provide meaningful individualized instruction.

We believe learning does not have to happen only at a desk. Our students can learn through outdoor exploration, library visits, music, movement, cooking, science experiments, educational outings, hands-on projects, and their individual interests.

We are looking for someone who combines the skills of a strong educator with the patience and understanding needed to support a child with autism and communication needs.

    Schedule & Compensation

Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour, based on education, credentials, and experience

    Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Full-Time

    To Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief description of:

    Your experience teaching elementary-aged children

Your experience working with children with autism or developmental differences

Any ABA, RBT, special education, behavioral support, or related experience
