Working parents in West U need your help as a part-time family logistics manager and study-time coach. Our sixth-grade daughter finishes school (Pin Oak Middle School) at 3:50 p.m. and needs a female chaperone to get her home (West University) or to after-school activities in the area. We are home most evenings by around 6:00 p.m., so the commitment is normally limited to a couple of hours a day, for which we offer $20/hour and the company of a funny, smart and sweet kid (parental bias acknowledged, but it's true!). Some study time help is needed, but absolutely no cleaning, cooking or housework. You'll need your own (safe) car, and a positive, dependable disposition. Critical days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday pick-up at 3:50 p.m.; Tuesday and Friday less critical, though possibly a later pick-up at around 5:00 p.m. Some random weekend help would be a plus, though not imperative. Rice student only, with clear background and references required. No phone/texting behind the wheel. Your help will be deeply appreciated!
