Personal care attendant needed to assist elderly man for one or more overnight shifts per week. Typical duties during approx. 7 pm to 7 am shift will include assistance with toileting and preparation for bed; monitoring frequent waking & bathroom needs throughout the night; and assistance with dressing & grooming in the morning. No cooking, cleaning, or bathing required. Caregiver may sleep in separate room while remaining on-call to attend to duties as needed. Daytime shifts 1-5 pm also available. Requires similar duties + ability to engage the care recipient in conversation and other stimulating activity. Previous experience as a personal care assistant is not required, but successful applicant must demonstrate high levels of honesty, integrity, patience, compassion, and responsibility. A positive attitude, personal warmth, strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and full engagement with the work are essential. Schedule is flexible, subject to availability. $10-12/hr.
