Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Private Kindergarten Teacher to join our NEW location, The Goddard School (Settlers Ridge). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of our students, guiding them through their early educational journey while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters childhood development.

Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, exploration, and creativity.

Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each student’s day, progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Assess student performance through various methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Participate in education administration activities such as staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred and have a current teaching license.

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.

Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

Familiarity with curriculum development processes and the ability to adapt materials for diverse learning needs.

A passion for teaching young children and fostering a love for learning.
