Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Private Label / Co-Manufacturing Account Executive to lead business development and account management for strategic partners.
This role is responsible for identifying, closing, and growing private label and co-manufacturing opportunities with retailers and CPG brands. You will work cross-functionally with operations, R&D, and leadership to bring new products to market and scale production.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new private label and co-manufacturing opportunities
Build a pipeline of retail and CPG brand partners
Lead outreach, pitching, and contract negotiations
Represent Folkland Foods at trade shows and industry events
Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
Manage relationships from onboarding through scale-up
Drive account growth, pricing discussions, and renewals
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Project & Product Launch Coordination
Collaborate with R&D and operations on new product development
Manage timelines from concept to commercialization
Coordinate packaging, specifications, and production requirements
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with operations on capacity planning and forecasting
Partner with finance on pricing, margins, and profitability
Support supply chain coordination for key accounts
Qualifications
5–7+ years of experience in:
Food manufacturing sales
Private label or co-manufacturing
CPG business development
Strong understanding of food production and commercialization processes
Proven track record of closing and growing accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with strong project management capabilities
Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in a fast-growing environment
Preferred Experience
Frozen food or potato product experience
Existing relationships with retailers, distributors (e.g., KeHE, UNFI), or emerging brands
Experience launching private label programs
Familiarity with SQF, food safety, and manufacturing constraints
