RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help develop, explain, and maintain company-wide and department regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Develop strategies to improve the Human Resource department and its practices.

• Administer personnel recruitment tasks such as creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and conducting reference and background checks.

• Conduct new employee orientation and process hiring-related paperwork.

• Perform regular check-ins with staff to ensure their happiness and engagement.

• Prepare and maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, exit interviews, career plans, or promotions.

• Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns.

• Provide management with information or training related to interviewing, performance appraisals, or documentation of performance issues.

• Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, or performance evaluation forms.

• Create monthly and quarterly reports of Human Resources activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or a related field or three years of experience.

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources.

• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.

• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.

• Strong ethics and reliability.
