We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide personalized one-on-one care for a private-pay client in Lewis Center, Ohio. This position is ideal for a caregiver who takes pride in delivering exceptional care, building meaningful relationships, and supporting a client’s comfort, safety, and independence in the home.
Responsibilities
Monitor and record blood pressure and blood sugar readings every two hours as directed.
Assist with meal support, feeding, and hydration reminders.
Provide assistance with bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment through light housekeeping related to the client’s care.
Remove trash and assist with routine household tasks that contribute to client comfort and safety.
Offer companionship, conversation, and engaging activities to promote emotional well-being and social interaction.
Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or care needs.
Complete accurate and timely documentation of all care provided during each shift.
Follow the established care plan while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Current HHA, STNA, CNA, or equivalent hands-on caregiving experience preferred.
Experience taking and documenting blood pressure and blood sugar readings.
Previous private-duty, home care, senior care, or one-on-one caregiving experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and provide attentive care in a private home setting.
Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality client care.
Reliable transportation to and from Lewis Center, Ohio.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and treat clients with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Schedule
Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
