Fully Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, LMFT, ect) Ellie Mental Health – Libertyville, Deerfield/Bannockburn, & Expanding to Gurnee, IL (2026)
For Experienced Clinical Leaders Ready to Help Build Something Bigger
As a clinician, are you tired of leadership roles that feel disconnected from actual clinical work? Burned out by weak support systems or environments where therapists' well-being comes second?
At Ellie Mental Health, we believe strong clinical leadership changes everything, for clients, clinicians, and culture alike.
We’re looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join our growing Lake County leadership team as we continue expanding across Lake County, including the opening of our third location in Gurnee later this year.
This is not a purely administrative role. We’re looking for an experienced clinician who enjoys mentoring therapists, strengthening clinical quality, supporting team culture, and helping build a sustainable, high-performing practice that clinicians actually want to stay in long term.
About Ellie Mental Health: Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by licensed clinicians in Minneapolis with the mission of improving access to quality mental health care while creating healthier workplaces for therapists themselves. Since then, Ellie has grown into a nationwide network (+200) of locally owned and operated clinics driven by authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. Our Illinois team currently operates locations in Libertyville & Bannockburn/Deerfield, with continued expansion planned throughout the Lake County region. At Ellie, we’ve reimagined the clinician experience from intake to ongoing support so therapists can focus on meaningful work instead of burnout, isolation, and unnecessary bureaucracy.
A Leadership Opportunity With Real Impact You’ve likely already:
Supported struggling clinicians behind the scenes
Helped newer therapists build confidence
Balanced ethical care with productivity demands
Managed difficult cases and team dynamics
Seen what poor leadership does to therapist morale
This role gives you the opportunity to help shape the kind of practice clinicians genuinely thrive in.
You’ll work directly with ownership and leadership to support therapist development, strengthen clinical excellence, and help scale a connected, collaborative culture as we grow into new markets.
