    One of the largest and oldest financial institutions in Greater Cincinnati has an opening for a Private Wealth Advisor (PWA).     As a Private Wealth Advisor, you are part of the organization’s Private Wealth Management team, helping clients identify and achieve all their financial objectives. We advise clients holistically on wealth and estate planning, investments, banking, credit, real estate, insurance, charitable giving, and fiduciary administration. In addition, we have specialized capabilities in business-sale advisory and pre-transaction planning.

    The PWA is responsible for identifying, closing, and deepening client relationships. Your familiarity with client circumstances, alongside a broad knowledge of investments, banking, wealth and estate planning, and trust services will help frame, acquire, and retain relationships. The Private Wealth Advisor is responsible for growth through internal and external sales and the development of new client relationships within the Wealth Management branch.

    You will have access to a complete team of specialists, who support you and your efforts by providing deeper knowledge in their respective areas of expertise. Your role is to act as a conduit within the Private Wealth Management team’s strategic partners in the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive, in-depth client financial assessments to determine financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
    • Design and implement customized wealth management strategies, including investment management, estate planning, tax optimization, and retirement planning.
    • Monitor financial plans and investment portfolios, making key adjustments based on market trends and client needs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including tax specialists, estate planners, and legal advisors, to offer holistic financial solutions.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the client portfolio through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain ethical financial practices.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and financial products to provide the best advisory services.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience in this field.
    • Established network with strong relationship management, networking, and business development skills.
    • Experience profiling clients and formulating customized strategies to address their needs.
    • Experience in a similar professional role in the Greater Cincinnati region, with a title such as a PWA, Senior Wealth Manager, Private Client Advisor, or similar, interacting with High and Ultra High Net Worth clients.
    • Demonstrated success in specific client segments or verticals, especially among individual accounts which have investible assets of $3-75 Million, per client, and the ability to manage numerous clients of that size.
    • A holistic approach to managing client relationships with the ability to organize and prioritize a team of specialists.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for audiences with different levels of sophistication.
    • Professional designations, such as CFA or CFP, are highly preferred. Also helpful is National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration.
    • Established local network of clients with strong relationship management, networking, and business development skills.
    • A passion for problem-solving and acting as a strategic advisor.
    • Ability to make critical decisions independently and act as a business owner.
    • Sophisticated knowledge of investment strategies, financial planning, estate planning, and risk management.
