    Job Description:

    The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing, guiding, and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team. This role provides leadership to ensure the safety of the group, setting and achieving departmental objectives, and optimizing team and individual performance. The supervisor is also accountable for offering technical guidance to identify and resolve the root causes of equipment failures and proactively addressing reliability issues.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement company and plant policies related to team members.
    • Engage in daily direction-setting activities and operations performance gap analysis.
    • Oversee repair-oriented capital projects and ongoing leadership development plans for maintenance department leaders.
    • Establish and manage individual and departmental goals.
    • Prioritize employee safety and model safe behaviors and work practices.
    • Serve on the plant safety committee and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
    • Foster effective communication between the maintenance team and other organizational groups.
    • Guide the development and continuous improvement of work order planning and scheduling processes.
    • Collaborate with operations leaders to align maintenance plans with operational objectives.
    • Create and maintain strategic maintenance improvement plans for manufacturing and infrastructure systems.
    • Promote collaboration between maintenance and operations teams to increase equipment efficiencies and minimize downtime.
    • Perform other assigned duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical components used in industrial settings.
    • 5-7 years of relevant experience, with maintenance leadership in food manufacturing preferred.
    • Strong leadership and leadership development abilities.
    • Project management skills.
