    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: Competitive with market rates; $95,000 -$115,000 target, includes comprehensive benefits

    Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to join our management team. This pivotal role is designed to spearhead quality initiatives, uphold stringent standards, and foster continuous improvement within our operations.     • Oversee the development and implementation of quality and food safety systems to meet all regulatory and company standards.
    • Lead a high-performing team, ensuring their growth and development through effective coaching and training.
    • Act as a strategic partner in product development processes, including research and development projects, to innovate and refine product specifications.
    • Implement robust quality control systems across all production areas to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops and keeping abreast of industry best practices.

    Key Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related technical discipline is highly preferred.
    • At least 5 years of management experience in Quality Assurance within the manufacturing sector; food industry experience is a plus.
    • Expertise in Food Safety Guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and related safety protocols.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in statistical data analysis, quality assurance applications, and general office software.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Execute additional tasks as needed to support overall departmental goals.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Direct supervision of the Food Safety and Compliance Coordinator, QA Supervisor, and QA Specialist.
    • Establish clear performance standards and goals, provide constructive feedback, and promote accountability within the team.
