Overview:
We're seeking a dedicated specialist to manage and uphold the integrity of our core utility systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, safety, and compliance within our dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain critical systems, including climate control, safety mechanisms, and production-related utilities, ensuring peak efficiency and safety.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with utility systems swiftly to support uninterrupted production flow and meet service level agreements.
• Perform regular maintenance, document equipment statuses, and uphold workplace cleanliness and organization.
• Liaise effectively across teams to communicate maintenance updates and collaborate on safety and quality initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing operational health and safety standards in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2-5 years) in troubleshooting and repairing industrial utilities (boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems, HVAC, etc.), preferably with a background in food processing environments.
• Ammonia Refrigeration experience in a hands-on capacity is required
• Certifications in utility management (or the ability to obtain them) are highly valued, including specialized training in safety equipment operation.
• Technical proficiency in control systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Self-motivated with a knack for identifying and tackling urgent maintenance needs, ensuring plant safety and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, with a penchant for problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Pay range is $35-45/hr but flexible for the right candidate

Full time, direct hire role with benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
