Quality Mechanical Inspector @ Township, MI (1099 Contractor)
Primary Responsibilities:
Help to push the activities in progress, so that they complete on time.
Review the materials report, verify the status, and inform of any delays.
Take photos of the manufacturing state with their respective explanation.
Review the schedule and compare it with the production status.
Monitor the production progress ensuring that it complies with the requirements.
Conducts technical sort and/or rework as necessary for client requirements.
Essentially an observe and report visit.
Inspection duties include, but are not limited to visual (workmanship) evaluation, functional testing as applicable (measurements, assembly, etc.), packaging & labeling verification, etc.
Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.
Mechanical Inspector Requirements:
BS in Mechanical preferred.
2-3 years' experience in Mechanical Inspections
Experience as a quality inspector, or applicable manufacturing experience in specified industries (CQE or other industry certifications a plus)
Ability to prepare and submit polished electronic reports in a timely manner, including digital photos.
Ability to maintain a positive, professional disposition when adapting to occasional disruptions and unexpected events.
