    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Administer, deploy and support corporate LAN and WAN systems,
    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
    Focus on service orientation,build and lead a distributed IT communications teams.
    Align and prioritize activities such as solution design, project work, and network support.
    Effectively manage assets and resources to complete group objectives on-time and within budget.
    Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.

    Establish KPI and metrics to measure and improve performance for key services and systems.
    Ensure maximum uptime and performance for network systems and end-to-end service quality for the network infrastructure.
    Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
    Facilitate research and recommend networking products and services.
    Collaborate with management to support both short and long term business objectives.
    Promote a culture of teamwork, integrity, quality, innovation, improvement and service.
    Negotiate with vendors and contractors for effective delivery of network and telecom related products and services.
    Promote and ensure compliance with legal, InfoSec, business and operational best practices.
    Perform typical management activities such as staffing, professional development, and performance management.
    Problem and Incident management ensuring that ensure SLA’s are achieved and customer expectations are met.
    Ensure the company tools and information systems are utilized correctly and relevant information is provided.
    Be available 24/7 for network support and telecom related incident escalation 

    PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

    Cisco training and certifications, Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, Cisco ACE/GSS, Cisco Nexus 7K
    Strong knowledge of networking protocols and systems including IP, TCP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, BGP, EIGRP, VPN and VoIP
    Experience troubleshooting and implementing Cisco routing and switching platforms including Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR
    Experience designing and managing Load Balancing solutions
    Knowledge of Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewall technologies
    Knowledge of Cisco WiFi technology including WLC and Cisco Prime
    Use of CA Service desk manager ticketing tools

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    University degree in the field of computer science or related field
    5+ years of experience supporting/administering complex network services.
    Extended experience on service oriented and support jobs in teamworks.
    Experience coordinating teams that deploy and/or support network and communications
    Experience deploying Datacenter network services
    Excellent written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills
    Strong planning and organization skills
    Ability to effectively communicate with varying audiences, from highly technical staff to end-users and top managers.
    Experience building, training and coordinating teams.
    Solid knowledge of technology industry trends
    Ability to identify, articulate, and coordinate activities for project execution and problem resolution.
    Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering results
    Practice managing and administering WAN services including contracts and billing administration.
    Able to resolve complex challenges and manage others
    Experience in maintaining budgets, schedules and leading a team with a variety of projects
