**Position Summary
**
This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by operating and maintaining rewinder machinery used in the manufacturing process, in addition to, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Second Shift: 2pm - 10pm
Training will be on 1st shift (6a-2p) for 6 - 8 weeks
This position is reponsible for:
- Safley sets up, operates, and monitors rewinder machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
- Completes rewinder machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipement to ensure proper operation.
- Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
- Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- All other duties as assigned.
**Education, experience, and skills:
**
- HS/GED required;
- 2-4 years' experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
- This position has no leadership duties.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
