RESPONSIBILITIES:

ProCom Consulting is seeking a .NET Developer to design, code and test new Windows desktop and web applications using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, WinForms, SQL Server, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The successful candidate will also enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to develop large scale web/database applications.
• Excellent knowledge of best practices – specifically in C# and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with both traditional and Agile software development methodologies
• Knowledge in software design, object-oriented design and implementation techniques and n-tier application design; thorough understanding of design patterns and their application in software development.
• Must have the desire and experience to implement strong unit and service-level tests.
• Experience with database design, architecture, and implementation; in particular, such design, architecture, and implementation in support of n-tier .NET application architectures.
• Functional expertise in SQL Server replication mechanisms and data synchronization.
• Must have knowledge of both Windows and Web based applications using .Net Framework, HTML, JavaScript and related technologies.
• Must have experience of Entity Framework.
• Must have experience of RESTful service development.
• Must have experience of MVC, design patterns and development frameworks.
• Microsoft Enterprise Library, encryption/decryption and hashing expertise.
• Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
• Must have both implementation experience and broad knowledge of the .NET platform.
• Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, Entity Framework.
• Minimum 5 years in backend software design in SQL Server 2008/20012, stored procedures, ASP.NET, C#.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps preferred.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
