    Job Description

    The Regional Security Operations Officer RSOC will follow the directives of the Post Commander and work closely with the Account Manager and Property manager to ensure that all activities are being monitored and properly responded to from the Regional Security Operational Center (RSOC). As an officer at the RSOC it is imperative that you have professional attitude and have the ability to multitask, as you’ll be monitoring approximately 25 different cameras and reporting everything via electronic report writing.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Visitor and guest access control at commercial locations via CCTV.
    • Observes and reports activities, prepares logs and reports as required by each site via TrackTik.
    • Fire Life Safety protocols and fire panel administration.
    • Must have the ability to make tough decisions quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.
    • Availability to answer calls, write reports via computer, have a friendly attitude and solve issues during their shift.
    • Always wear appropriate and professional uniform attire while on duty.
    • Respond to alarms and distress calls and perform checks in areas of concern via computer and phone.
    • Manage activity being submitted unto patrol software and report to Post Commander about said activity.
    • Ensure that all unauthorized personnel are not granted access to the premises.
    • Greeted and acknowledged all employees, contractors, vendors and guests.
    • Secured the premises by monitoring cctv, perform patrols and controlling the access to units within the building.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Worked in a high rise building for a minimum of a two years.
    • A valid guard-card.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
    • Ability to provide outstanding customer service to clients
    • Ability to effectively communicate with direct reports, potential employees, upper management, and clients
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially.
    • Knowledge of corporate professionalism and e-mail etiquette
    • Must have basic computer skills and may be required to learn a variety of software.
    • Excellent communication skills and public relations experience.
    • Must be able to work in a professional manner as the office is within the Property Management Space.
