ProLift Garage Doors seeks experienced Garage Door Installer to perform installations, service, and repairs for the greater Bremerton, WA area. If you have prior experience working as a residential installer and seek a part-time/full-time position, please apply.
Responsibilities
Install various types of residential garage doors – including retrofit and new construction.
Products, buildings and applications differ case by case; the candidate must be able to complete installation professionally as it pertains to safety, functionality and performance working within the guidelines of the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Skills Required
Previous experience servicing/ installing garage doors - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used in the residential garage door service
Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public
Team player
Self-Starter
Able to work independently and efficiently.
Basic math and legible handwriting.
Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent with 1 plus years' experience that would provide skills and abilities that is necessary to complete the job.
Physical Demands
Requires frequently: Standing, lifting of 50 lbs., Carrying 50 lbs., walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level; full use of hands, good finger dexterity, lifting from floor to waist and twisting of torso. Also includes working in cramped garages, on ladders, and with power tools and perform manual labor in outside environment, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain and other adverse weather conditions.

Compensation is negotiable, this is a startup business so the hours in the beginning will be sporatic as we ramp up the business and for that reason I would like to offer a base salary which you would receive even if you have no work. The base salary would be in effect until you hit 30 hours on a regular basis at which time the job would switch to hourly. There are also possibilities to do a base/hourly and even hourly/%sales. We also offer 1 week paid vacation and $1000 sign on bonus which will be paid after 3 month of employment.
