ProLift Garage Doors seeks experienced Repair Technicians to perform installations,

service, and repairs. If you have prior experience working as a repair

technician or in a comparable position and seek a part-time/full-time

Responsibilities

Install and/or Repair various types of garage doors and openers – including residentialand/or commercial overhead and roll-up garage doors.

Products, buildings, and applications differ case by case; the candidatemust be able to choose the best solutions for each application as it pertainsto safety, functionality, and performance working within the guidelinesof the manufacturer’s installation instructions.

The Repair Technician/Installer will also troubleshoot, repair, and perform periodicmaintenance on new and existing equipment.

Requirements

6 months previous experience servicing/installing garage doors – knowledge of theprinciples, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the residentialgarage door service.

Mechanical aptitude – knowledge, and skills in using various handand power tools.

Knowledge of appropriate Garage Door related materials and parts.

Knowledge of building and construction principals.

Ability to operate a variety of computer programs and systems.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships withother employees and the general public.

Ability to read electrical schematics.

Basic welding and wiring.

Team player; strong collaboration skills.

Be a self-starter with the ability to organize multiple projects, managerapidly shifting priorities and produce tangible, measurable results.

Able to work independently and efficiently.

Basic business math and legible handwriting.

Must have a valid drivers’ license with a good driving record and be insurable.
