OVERVIEW: This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! We are looking for a garage door repair and installation expert for a new company location in West Des Moines, IA. We are willing to provide technical product training for all qualified applicants. We are looking for a driven, experienced, and career-minded individual looking to take charge of their success. If you are tired of grinding away without purpose and feel like you will never achieve your goals within your current role; Pro-Lift may have the right opportunity for you! As a garage door service manager, you will be assisting in logistics and service training for new hires. You will build and present quotes to repair and/or replace the doors and complete the repairs at customers homes during that visit or return at a later scheduled date. Service Managers must be able to manage their time, the support staff and company workflow efficiently. They will also be responsible for their own truck and company inventory. Annual salary potential of $60-70k with our top technicians earning much more.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Garage Door Installation/Repair Experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate clearly (spoken & written)

Comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction

Customer service & sale acumen

Great listening skills

Leadership and training skills

Clean, organized and methodical work ethic

Ability to work independently without oversight

Ability to work outside in all weather and climb ladders

Ability to read and understand directions and instructions

Strong understanding of basic computer technology

Complete jobs on time with outstanding craftsmanship

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install and/or repair garage doors, openers and associated components

Assist in the training of new technicians and installers as needed

Responsible for the safe driving of company vehicles

Responsible in maintaining a safe work site, equipment, and truck

Training and instruction of new hires

Review work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing the job site

Comfortable with networking and talking with new and potential customers

Work on-call for emergency situations as needed

Ordering and maintaining relationships with preferred vendors

Other duties as assigned

OTHER:

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to work with a flexible schedule
