Pay rate is 16.75/hr with all shifts available (Swing shift only)

Hours: 3:30pm to 12:30am

Mask required onsite.  

Steel tow boots required.

PRODUCTION PACKER – JOB DESCRIPTION

• § Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• § Understand and follow all safety procedures/policies
• § Wear all required PPE at all times
• § Follow all SOP's for department
• § Form and pack cartons or cut and setup corrugated cores
• § Have a working knowledge of how to use hand tools and gauges necessary to perform packer duties
• § Monitor carton and roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift
• § Assure proper packaging and labeling of film
• § Properly load, wrap and band pallets
• § Perform quality and specification checks of material being produced and complete related documentation
• § Notify Operator of any nonconformance or out of-spec findings

SQF LEVEL 1 JOB REQUIREMENTS

• § Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Food Safety guidelines.
• § Abide by all company Programs and Policies related to Food Safety (GMP's, Foreign Material Control, Housekeeping, Product Tampering, etc.)
• § Abide by all personal hygiene rules (handwashing)
• § Complete all records necessary for traceability of finished product.
• § Keep work areas and equipment clean
• § Report incidents that impact the quality of Food Contact Packaging to the manager (pest sightings, equipment malfunctions, raw material issues, etc.)
• § Report to their supervisor if they are suffering from any communicable disease.
