Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Accountant for our Non-Profit client in Cicero, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and journal entries, reconciliations,  fixed assets, GL maintenance & management. 
• Assist in the month end close and preparation of financial statements
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Great Plains a Must!
