    ProNexus LLC is a premier non-attest accounting, finance, and management consulting firm providing private, public, and not-for-profit clients the expertise and resources they need to succeed. ProNexus LLC was founded in Rochester, NY in 2012 by two former Big Four CPAs who believed that small and middle-market organizations were underserved in the non-attest accounting firm space.

    ProNexus LLC is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our firm.

    Ideal candidates can either be entry level right out of business school or in the early stages of their career with 1-3 years of success in Business Development or Talent Acquisition. At ProNexus we believe in empowering our team to take initiative over their career paths. This role is a great way to learn our business, get to know our team and create opportunities for yourself within the organization.     Job Description:

    • Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, you are responsible for selling the entire suite of ProNexus services: Finance & Accounting, NetSuite, ERP, Interim & Loan Staff, Outsourced Accounting, Retained Search
    • You have support from ProNexus leadership, including Partners, to help secure new business.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Talent Acquisition, Client Service, and Partners to secure business.
    • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
    • Maintain positive relationships with potential and current clients
    • Be able to articulate the benefits and differentiators of ProNexus to potential clients both verbally and in written communication
    • Participate in the creation, presentation, and sale of a complete value proposition via the telephone, internet, and in-person client meetings.

    More About You

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • You have 0-3 years of business experience, preferably in Talent Acquisition or Sales.
    • You are known for your tremendous work ethic, sense of urgency, laser focus, passion, dedication, and ability to communicate effectively.
    • You’re well-organized, can multitask, manage your time efficiently, and meet goals & deadlines.
    • You enjoy learning and can translate that into value for prospects.
