    Job Description

    This Operations Planner position is responsible for acting as a liaison between field colleagues and the HR Recruiting team. This position determines and prioritizes project staffing needs, facilitates the staffing of consultants on projects and monitors and tracks billability and availability of personnel.

    Essential Functions Include:

    • Responsible for communicating with all ProPharma Group Project Managers/Leads, CRMs and Business Development to determine staffing needs for all ProPharma Group projects across consulting Lines of Business and to ensure staffing needs/changes are accommodated for each project.  
    • Review candidates' resumes supplied by the recruiting team for specific projects to confirm candidate fit per job description.
    • Review CRM staffing requests for accuracy and completeness, communicate with opportunity owner if clarification is necessary.
    • Review current available personnel and schedules for on-boarding projects with existing and recruited staff.
    • Support the Recruiting team by clearly indicating staffing priorities.
    • Provide weekly utilization reports for fulltime colleagues in Life Science Consulting to ProPharma Group Management.
    • Manage utilization of current staff.
    • Generate and provide weekly forecast reports to ProPharma Group Management.
    • Work with Project Managers to review project budgets for current projects and understand personnel availability and end dates
    • In some regions, review and approve Time/Expenses for current staff.
    • Interact daily with Operations and the Recruiting Team.
    • Responsible for following up on project status and Purchase Orders needed for current or upcoming projects.
    • Request Site Assignment Letters when appropriate, review for accuracy and submit for approval.
    • Perform all job functions with little to no oversight.
    • 10% Travel
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates must have:

    • Degree in Engineering or Science or related field.
    • 4 years’ of relevant work experience in lieu of education requirement.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fields of compliance or validation or 6+ years’ experience in a life science industry.
    • High level of communication skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to manage forecasting and personnel scheduling reports.
    • Ability to execute multiple tasks or projects.
