    Job Description

The Spotfire and Infrastructure Developer will apply programming skills to develop tools for the tabulation, tracking, compilation, and graphical display of manufacturing operations data.  The overall purpose of such activities is to ensure a reliable and automated flow of data which in turn results in near-real time data availability.  In addition, data analytics and visualization tools are built on top of this data pipeline.

The analyst will build and automatically populate a robust database to track upstream and downstream manufacturing production data.  This includes manufacturing in-process sample data, release data, and external manufacturing data surrounding drug product manufacturing.  The Developer will also be expected to develop and maintain complex data visualization dashboards and their underlying datasets, backed by shared files or a database.  These visualizations support daily manufacturing activities and are used by analysts and management across the manufacturing and process sciences departments.

The Spotfire and Infrastructure Developer will be expected to familiarize themselves with all aspects of the data pipeline beginning with generation of results, through automated processing and parsing into a database, and culminating in generating visualization for this data.  Additionally, The Spotfire and Infrastructure Developer may need to develop new automated solutions to reduce unnecessary or repetitive work.
