    Job Description

    SUMMARY:  Employees within the Clinical Strategies & Logistics department are responsible for assisting the Clinical Strategies & Logistics leadership team in implementation of special initiatives as assigned. Core activities will be executing the department’s strategy as well as contributing to internal and cross-functional processes. Performs duties in accordance with ProSciento’s values, policies, and procedures.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned at the company’s sole discretion.

     

    • Assimilates knowledge around metabolic disease (i.e. diabetes, obesity, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis)and becomes fluent in discussing tools and areas of key interest to stakeholders (sites/patients/studies).
    • Uses system of record (SOR) and support compliance cross-functionally.
    • Provides feedback and ideas around new initiatives, marketing, and tools that would increase efficiencies and output.
    • Actively recruits and assists in development of strategic partnership relationships at the site level.
    • Plans and manages resources and recruitment efforts to cover at least 3 months of study pipeline activity.
    • Actively participates in multi-media site marketing efforts, including development and execution of webinars, web content updates, and site presentations.
    • Performs initial site evaluation and qualification for suitability as a strategic partner site and makes recommendations to site managers.
    • Initiates essential document collection and circulation for review.
    • Familiarizes sites with pre-study eligibility summaries. 
    • Actively contributes to and implements marketing strategies to drive sites and subjects to all special initiatives.
    • Assists in process improvement and revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
    • Practices and adheres to the mission statement and ProSciento values.
    • Trains on department specific SOPs and WIs.
    • Implements and tracks project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) as directed. 
    • Travel may be required, up to ~5%.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor level degree in Marketing or Clinical Research preferred. Clinical site experience of 3+ years is a plus. 2+ years’ experience in recruitment, sales, and/or marketing required. Knowledge and understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable FDA rules, regulations, guidance documents, and governing conduct of human clinical trials is a plus.

     

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: 

    Knowledge of clinical research process. General knowledge of research regulatory and quality assurance guidelines. Public presentation skills. Able to communicate via email, text and Microsoft Outlook/Teams meeting platforms. Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Critical thinking and problem resolution abilities. Independent work ethic. Salesforce experience preferred.

     

    LANGUAGE ABILITY:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and clinical protocols. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, and the general public.

     

    MATH ABILITY:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

     

    REASONING ABILITY: 

    Ability to define/solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and predict outcomes when several abstract and concrete variables are present. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, mathematical or schedule form. 

     

    COMPUTER SKILLS: 

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the current Microsoft Office 365 software, MS project preferred, as well as feel comfortable utilizing web based technical platforms with minimal support.
