Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (Chemical Plant) to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE will be responsible for receiving/confirming orders; order entry; assisting the sales dept. with quotes and communication with customers; communication with the plant departments, management and other office personnel. Administrative responsibilities include answering phones and greeting visitors.

Minimum 5 years experience in customer service preferably in the chemical industry:

·         Demonstrated organizational, customer service and follow up skills

·         Demonstrated phone skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

·         Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing

·         Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and report generation

·         Consistently demonstrate a positive, constructive, and cooperative attitude in the business environment

·         Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of quotes, inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken

·         Demonstrated problem solving and communication skills

·         Demonstrated computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Quickbooks, Excel and Word)
