Are you an experienced probate (3+ yrs) attorney with a passion for helping others, a natural leader, hungry for growth and learning, and a desire for a fulfilling career within a truly team-first environment? At Coastal Legacy Law, we're a rapidly growing and values-driven firm. It sounds cliché, but it's true. We're seeking a Probate Attorney to help establish our probate team and play a pivotal role in being part of our continued success. We are not your average law firm, really, and we're not looking for an average attorney. We are building a legacy of exceptional client service and an incredible, supportive, and growth-oriented team. If you're driven, highly ethical, value work-life balance, and want to be part of a truly supportive and non-toxic team (feels like it's unheard of in the legal industry), we want you to apply! If this doesn't spark excitement in you, please keep applying to other job postings. This is a pivotal role at our firm, reporting to both Irene de Jesus, firm owner and current lead attorney, and Silvana de Jesus, COO. You will play a crucial role in developing our probate department, as well as be a part of our Estate Planning team. This role does require travel primarily within Volusia County, specifically between our offices in DeLand and New Smyrna Beach. This is a hybrid role, so there is the opportunity to work from home when there are no client appointments in the office if you desire. We work with our team members to provide a balance, as much as possible, between working from home and working from the office. This role also includes about two to four evenings a month to host workshops throughout Volusia County. While we do not work on weekends, some weekends are required for team-related events/activities, CLEs, conferences, etc. If you are a driven, honest, and loyal attorney who thrives in a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment, and you're ready to make a significant impact on a growing firm while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, we encourage you to apply. To apply, complete the application here and upload your resume in a PDF format (Word format will not be read), including the DISC assessment, and upload a 2-5 minute (max) video to the link below explaining 1) what makes you excited about working with us, 2) why you're the best candidate for the job, 3) what are the benefits of you joining our team, 4) what you bring to the table in terms of experience 5) anything else you believe is important for us to know. Your application will not proceed without this. Please make sure your video and audio are clear. We ask that all candidates refrain from reaching out to our intake team, as it can create additional work on their end to sift through clients and potential clients, as well as redirect candidates to this posting. Please only each out through other professional/recruiting platforms if you must.
