    Everwhite makes high performance, long lasting whiteboards using our proprietary dry-erase technology. These are in schools, hospitals, and offices all across the country.

    Position Overview: We are looking for an energetic, motivated process engineer to help support production at our whiteboard factory. streamline production, support new factory layouts, support production to support business growth in our family of companies.

    This position will include on-the-job training, working first in a support role to our experienced engineers, operators, and technical staff. From day one, you’ll be involved in active production, quality assurance, product development, and learn how process engineering principles are applied in real business environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Production support / troubleshooting as issues on the shop floor pop up

    Improvements to production processes

    Collaborate with production on setting lead times

    Setting production schedule for large jobs

    Root cause analysis of quality and process issues

    Product development – Work collaboratively with marketing and President on new product development and introductions.

    Cost engineering – Working with accounting and production on setting production rates, making time improvements

    Technical vendor management – On new and existing products, managing technical changes, new items, replacement items, troubleshooting quality issues from vendors

    Key attributes:

    Degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent

    Experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment

    Strong curiosity and willingness to learn on the job

    Comfortable working in a hands-on, production-oriented environment
