    The Process Engineer supports and improves automated manufacturing operations by optimizing processes, controlling production parameters, and resolving technical issues. The role covers production processes involving forming, mechanical and laser processing, robotic handling systems, automated conveyor lines, marking/printing systems, and in-line inspection equipment.

    This position works closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to enhance process stability, product quality, safety, and cost performance, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations

    Set and optimize process parameters based on product specifications and production requirements

    Monitor process performance and address variation or instability

    Identify issues affecting quality, productivity, scrap, or downtime and support root cause analysis

    Assist with troubleshooting process and equipment-related problems

    Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation

    Support process capability studies, data collection, and continuous improvement initiatives

    Assist with new product launches, process validation, and equipment commissioning

    Train operators on process controls and collaborate with Quality to meet specifications

    Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with plant safety policies

    Education & Background

    Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field

    Entry-level candidates with relevant internships are welcome

    Strong hands-on automation experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

    Required Skills

    Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment

    Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

    Fundamental knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

    Problem-solving ability and basic data analysis skills

    Strong responsibility, attention to detail, and teamwork

    Ability to work in a production environment

    Preferred (Plus) Qualifications

    Experience with automated production or metal manufacturing

    Familiarity with process control systems (HMI, SCADA, MES), robotics, or PLC systems

    Experience supporting laser or mechanical processing equipment

    Knowledge of ASTM, API, or similar standards

    Lean / continuous improvement experience

    SolidWorks or AutoCAD skills

    Relevant technical certifications

    Mandarin language skills
