Qualifications
- B.Sc. with > 3 yrs experience or M.Sc. in Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent experience
- Fluent English.
- Good communication skills coupled with the ability to see trends and simplify complex information.
- Some experience in manufacturing support and process design (equipment/instrumentation specification.
- Relief valve sizing training with practical application.
- Track record in working within project timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Basics in partnering and problem-solving skills.
- Typically, 3-7 years’ experience as a process design engineer, or equivalent, with practical experience in manufacturing support, process engineering design with an emphasis on project FEL development, showing basic knowledge in process safety, reaction hazards, electrostatics, and environmental issues.
- Basic knowledge of relief design, including contingency development and calculations for typical equipment (mixing vessels, storage tanks, and pumps).
