    General Description

    This manufacturing support position at the IAC Service Center of Excellence plays a vital role in maintaining the day to day production of service parts to the OEM's. A focus on maintaining equipment functionality is critical while planning for current production products to end mass production and become low volume is required.

    Position Specific Requirements (PSR)

    • Review Assembly Prints and parts to create Work Instructions and Packaging Instructions
    • Troubleshoot Run at Rate issues with the manufacturing team
    • Review customer requirements to create testing plans for parts that need PPAP submission
    • Determine Run Rates on lines
    • Work with multi plants to maximize usages for packaging and maintain returnable packaging catalog.
    • Manage Build outs in regard to tooling and equipment
    • Monitor bank builds
    • Create and Review Cost cards for the finished goods

    Experience, Education, Qualifications

    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues that arise during service production and work with engineering and production teams to implement solutions.
    • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, identify areas for process improvement, and potential cost savings.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and ensuring adherence to manufacturer's procedures for safety.
    • Process Optimization: Utilize techniques like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes, production data, and maintenance activities.
    • Degree: BA preferred or equivalent experience
