Process Technician - Plastics and Polymers - Base Salary to 95k/year - Los Angeles, CA

• Our client, a Plastic Film Manufacturer, is seeking a Process Technician to the film extrusion & compounding processes.
  
• In this role, the Process Technician will identify, recommend and implement process improvements as well as define running conditions on all machines on the floor.

Responsibilities:

• Support operators with troubleshooting and technical issues.
  
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams on technical matters.
  
• Assess machine capability for new products and trials.
  
• Share and benchmark best practices with sister plants.
  
• Select and manage vendors for process improvements.
  
• Train operators on new equipment and processes.
  
• Support investigations and corrective actions related to quality complaints.
  
• Participate in audits, customer visits, trials, and equipment investments.
  
• Create and maintain process documentation and operating procedures.
  
• Provide technical support to customers when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Basic math, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing materials, processes, and equipment.
  
• Ability to interpret and apply technical and procedural documentation.

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 95k/year. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k. Relocation assistance is also available.
