We are seeking a Business Development Recruiter to join our growing staffing team in Houston Texas.
Position Summary: The Business Development Recruiter will focus on client prospecting, marketing strategy executing, writing proposals, along with executing recruiting strategies to deliver suitable candidates for assigned positions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities, discover new ways to find prospects
- Assessing cost effectiveness of products or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Must be comfortable handling scheduling demands and managing multiple simultaneous client and field staff needs
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients while maintaining a database of prospective client information
- Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
- Building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
- Facilitate pre-employment testing
- Manage all communication with candidates
- Provide regular updates and feedback to managers
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives
- Will be required to be "on call" on a rotating basis
- Skills & Abilities:
- Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
- Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Software), lead generation and prospect management
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities
- Technical proficiency – Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Energetic and able to work with little supervision
- Ability to collaborate with others and contribute to a productive, fun work environment
- Must have reliable vehicle
Educational & Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
- Must have experience making outbound calls
- Cold calling experience; previous experience in an outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Staffing experience is ideal
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
