    Job Description

    INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:

    This internship aims to enhance the candidate's Procurement and overall Business skills by exposing them to a variety of Procurement related activities including Strategic Sourcing, Oracle purchasing technology, Vendor Management, Negotiations, Distribution and Inventory projects, Data management, bids, quotations, and contracts.

    The internship will also provide the candidate with the opportunity to learn from multiple Procurement and Business stakeholders including Sourcing leaders, category managers, Procurement analysts, Operations stakeholders, business stakeholders, potential and current vendors.

    Responsibilities will vary based on workload, requirements of the business, and the skills of the candidate. We expect to utilize the candidate on active projects with live data, current vendors and operational Clean Earth facilities and employees to add value.

    INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES(Potential):

    • Projects and tasks vary based on the needs of the business and the skills of the candidate but will potentially include the following:
    • Negotiation Preparation to include invoice & data analysis, and technical reviews
    • On-boarding new vendors to include document collection, submission, communication and coordination with outside agencies and departments.
    • Monitoring internal queue system for Price Increases, required actions, and analysis
    • Assist and provide project support to Capital Projects including bid analysis, data analysis, Finance coordination, specification development and review
    • Provide support to initiatives deployed across the nation including Indirect categories, fleet and logistics categories, maintenance and vehicle categories
    • Support compliance reporting for nation-wide deployments which may include analysis, investigation, and reporting
    • Support internal controls, audits, data fidelity, contract management, and related projects
    • Create and provide ad-hoc documentation across multiple departments.

    • Full-time Hybrid
      • Monday/Friday virtual
      • Tuesday Wednesday Thursday King of Prussia PA office
      • Occasional day-travel but no overnight trips
    • 8 Weeks (June 1- July 31st)
    • Hourly Rate: $22-$24/hour

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Ideal candidate is a college junior or senior actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain.

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (outlook, teams, excel, PPT, word)
    • Ability to navigate multiple systems to research and find information
    • Interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication
    • Possesses a high level of motivation and excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • High level of organizational ability and ability to multi-task
    • Professional demeanor, attire, language, behavior
    • Proactive and able to work independently
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
    • Regular and predictable attendance
    • Flexible and highly motivated to learn via experiences
    • Basic fundamental understanding of Purchasing/Procurement helpful
    • Basic fundamental understanding of Buyer/Supplier relationships helpful
    • Understanding of King of Prussia location and ability to commute 3 days (Tue, Wed, Thurs)
